An unusual mid 18th Century figured mahogany dish-top Tripod Table of rounded rectangular form, carved with oak leaves and acorns and scalloped shells to the sides, raised on fluted gun-barrel and spiral twist stem supported on leaf scrolled, carved legs ending on lion's paw feet. (Possibly Philadelphia USA, due to unusual rectangular top with shells and unusual shell carving to knees.)
