A well-cast pair of early 19th century French bronze candlesticks having foliate sconces and moulded nozzles above ringed tapering stems supported on leaf and shell decorated circular bases. This modest sizes pair have brilliantly detailed foliate castings. Being made totally in bronze makes a great contrast to anything they are placed on.
